Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.

Read the Write Book is a West Australian owned and operated sole-trader business registered to operate within Australia and therefore is bound by the Australian Consumer Law. 

Guarantee

When purchasing from my website, you will be getting the EXACT item(s) shown in the photographs and item description provided. Product pricing is reflective of the item condition and its general perceived value. All books and merchandise are stored in a clean, dry, smoke-free environment and are sent in the exact condition in which it was displayed in the online store. 

Privacy & Information Collection

All personal information provided will be for the use of Read the Write Book only. No information will be shared with third parties for any use other than for postage purposes.

Refunds

All refunds will be issued by the same means in which the original purchase was made and must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Refunds will only be issued for transaction errors or loss and/or damages during transportation. No refunds will be given for change of mind, or for orders that arrive within 30 days of the initial delivery estimation date.

If for any reason an item is not in the condition in which it was displayed in the online store a full refund will be offered, with the option of purchasing the item at a discounted price. No refunds will be accepted for discounted stock.

All orders are sent with tracking through Australia Post and are insured for up to $100. If your order value is over $100, only the first $100 will be covered unless buyer has paid for the additional insurance upon checkout.

Once parcels are in the care of Australia Post, the package will be subject to Australia Post’s terms and conditions. Read the Write Book is not responsible for parcels lost, damaged, stolen or mishandled while in the care of Australia Post. Any packages lost, stolen, damaged or mishandled will need to be taken up with Australia Post and will be subject to their terms and conditions.

No refunds will be given for digital products.

Shipping/Handling

All orders are sent through Australia Post, with insurance for up to $100 (unless additional insurance value has been purchased at checkout). Orders will be packaged and handed over to Australia Post within 3 working days. Once parcels are in the care of Australia Post, the package will be subject to Australia Post’s terms and conditions. Read the Write Book is not responsible for parcels lost, damaged, stolen or mishandled while in the care of Australia Post. Any packages lost, stolen, damaged or mishandled will need to be taken up with Australia Post and will be subject to their terms and conditions.
