He's Gone

Very hard to put down. This book has you guessing right from page one. Every time I thought I had it figured out, something would throw me back off course and I'd have to start guessing all over again. 

Once things come to a head and the 'big reveal' comes undone, a shocking twist unravels everything yet again. The last few chapters pull the rug out from under you again and again and yet again. 

The only thing that really didn't make any sense to me is how the police hadn't managed to crack the case considering there would have literally been an open trail they could've followed. That glaring plot hole threw this book back and really irritated me considering how well the rest of the story was put together.

All in all though, the experience was a good one, so I'll award it 4-stars, as I really did like the writing style and it had good momentum throughout. I listened to this as an audiobook through Audible and it is currently available to read for free through kindle unlimited.
